Jose_49
Yo people! I'm looking for a 2D CAD video card for under 300$ for a person. The program to be used is AutoCAD 2014. I currently do not know the PCIe slot. It had paired an Nvidia GT 8600 with a i7 4770 :x (Yeah... I know...) with 8GB of RAM DDR3. So, the video card will be used for managing 2D vectors in AutoCAD (Topography - Civil Engineering). Any good ideas?

Will give you a listed of recommended cards for what AutoCad suite you have. We use SolidWorks and AutoCad at my work and both sites have a list of recommended hardware. Probably your best bet to get a card that will perform the way you need. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/syscert?siteID=123112&id=18844534

techbeck
Thanks. Seems I'll be going with a Quadro K2000... NP. Glad sites test hardware with their products and lists them online. Makes it easier to get the right hardware :) We used to have the Quadro 2000s at work. We are up to the 5000s now since we have SolidWorks models that are hundreds of MB is size and contains probably a 100k+ components. Quadro 5000s can run 1500 bucks.
