Where should I sell my Xbox 360 games?

Trade them at Gamestop for the Xbox One games..

I wouldnt Gamestop.  Better to sell them on EBAY or Craigslist.  Gamestop will give you pennies for the games.  Get more money if you sell them yourself.  You may get $5 for a game from Gamestop, and you can get 2 - 3 times more on CL or Ebay.  Gamestop is easier to get rid of the games tho.

I don't want their cash but I said TRADE..

Meaning that you can give Gamestop your 5 360 games and you can get 1 or 2 Xbox One game(s) to take home...

That's simple.

Also, he can get credit on his account for future use.

Since when did Gamestop do that?  I used to trade games with them but never got enough money go get 2 different games and they never gave me that option to trade 5 to get 2.

And I know you can get credit...but still the credit is lower than what you can get on your own.

it is not option...  it is your decision how many games you want to give Gamestop.. and based on the value altogether... and you get 1 or two game of your choice based on the value from old games altogether.  Or you tell them to put them on your credit and so you can save your credit up for the right time.

Ah, ok.  Sounded like they were doing something different.  I just found that GS doesnt give you adequate credit or cash back for games.   I would send in a few month old game that cost me $60, I get maybe $35 from GS, and they turn around and sell if for almost $50.  If I sell it on my own, that whole $50 is mine.

But GS is easier/quicker if you dont want to mess with selling it on your own.  Less scratches, more money.  And having the books as well helps.

I guess I'll compare prices on eBay and see if it's even worth selling on there. I've seen some games go for $5 which in my opinion wouldn't be worth it, including the fees and all.

I know this is off topic...

My son decided to count how many digital games we own for the 360 (indie up to AAA titles), and he counted 81 games or so...  This includes the freebie's (GwG) and paid...

So if you buy digital copy games, are you SOL when it's time to give up that console?

Gamestop: Will pay terrible with in-store credit which locks you to using your "money" with them. Easy.

Pawnshop: Will pay terrible, actual money. Easy.

Ebay/craiglist/localonlinestore: Pays more, actual money. Less Easy.

Best Option (and in my opinion only option): Sell Online.

I would suggest checking with a local Microsoft Store if you have one near by. They usually offer more credit than Gamestop for games, but its still not going to be amazing. I have also had good luck with Amazon. Amazon pays the shipping fees to send them the games you want to get credit for and sometimes the value they offer is great.

Digital games are worth nothing, no collector value, no resale value, games may be removed from store etc. I have no idea why anyone ever, decides to go digital to save a couple of dollars losing so much more in the process since it's worth nothing after purchase.

Op if you don't need the money just hold onto them for now. PS2, 360 are in the real low price bracket for the next few years until everyone wants to get their hands on them again.

trade them into gamestop, i sold all my 360 games to gamestop & got $200 for them

gtav & blackops 2 i got $22 each for them

I might just do that and snag the new COD or maybe Destiny expansion back when it gets released.

I got a few 360 games that I no longer play due to owning an xbox one. What do you recommend the best way to sell them?

Personally? I'd sell them all online, your choice as to single sales or a job lot or bulk sale, once you've done a little research on how much your games are listed for, sum them all up, lets say 15 games, and you could get 150 (insert currency here),

Go onto whichever site you'd want to sell at, and list them as either a bid only (reserved) or a buy out for 100

But this is just an example as you might have more/less valuable titles in your collection
