Do You Plan On Watching The Exclusive Video Content Coming To Xbox Live And PSN?

Recommended Posts

Both Microsoft and Sony are making their online subscription platforms (Live and Plus) more valuable by adding exclusive entertainment beyond video games. Do you plan on watching?

Among other projects, Sony has the upcoming show Powers starring Sharlto Copley based on the comic of the same name. Microsoft has the upcoming documentary Atari: Game Over and also aired a documentary about Minecraft last year. Do you plan on watching these movies and TV shows? Does their inclusion keep you subscribed to Microsoft and Sony's online platforms? Or do you use your consoles exclusively for video games? Let us know in the comments below.

I will give it a shot. I like games, and I like watching movies and shows, so yeah, will see what it has to offer, especially if free.

If they decided to charge for it, I would probably not watch it.

But it is my understanding it is all free. So yeah, will check it out.

I'm going to check it out....

I just hope that Powers isn't Heros....

And I hope that they (both MS & Sony) do shows that are live action, or CG based on hit franchises..

Or even do show that would translate into an amazing game.

As long as its free on PS+ I'll check it out, if it moves over to pay-to-play I'll give it a miss.

What about the Halo series?

Microsoft were having issues managing studios to do the tv series and basically let go of a lot of people in that department so it's likely that the halo series won't be out for a while.. it should eventually be made and released but no ETA that I'm aware of.

They closed the department completely at the end of Oct:

MS closed the department but are not done creating such content. They just decided it wasn't necessary to have an entire studio devoted to it. Halo Nightfall will continue as scheduled as well as the Steven Spielberg production in partnership with Showtime.

Sony is all about TV content, so we may very well see more content from them for the ps4
