txwho Posted November 13, 2014 Share Posted November 13, 2014 I had and iPhone 4s fail to update when going from ios 7.1.2 to 8.1. I was finally able to get ios installed and the phone had made a backup but encrypted the backup and I have no idea what the password is. My end user is livid that all of his information is lost.
