jbarcus81
I have been using the stock cooler for my AMD FX-SERIES CPU FX-6350 x6 and have noticed recently under load my computer just shuts off.. So I downloaded an app to monitor my temps and I saw that I've been hitting a max CPU Temp of around 70-77C and to me, that just seems to be too hot. Now to my question.. I have a pretty nice case and want to look at water cooling my CPU.. maybe even GPU down the line, but for now just the CPU.. The case I have is this.. ULTRA XBlaster Pro U12-42350 Mid-Tower Case and you can view it http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4861147 if you want.. But it looks like it has the ability to take water cooling rather easily.. I just don't know where to start.. Any ideas as to which direction I'm to go here?? Thanks guys/gals.. Mindovermaster Moderator Posted November 15, 2014 Moderator Share Posted November 15, 2014 Get the Corsair 80i. I don't think the 100i can fit in that system. I had my 80i for 6 months now, no issues. It's closed circuit, so no leakage issues.

I saw some cheaper models.. it's funny though, water cooling has been around a while and I've just now started to really look into it. Huh. Mindovermaster Moderator Posted November 15, 2014 Moderator Share Posted November 15, 2014 The cheaper models are usually just that, cheaply made. The Corsair models are well made. I know other members on here who use different versions of Corsair water cooling products.

Mindovermaster Moderator Posted November 15, 2014 Moderator Share Posted November 15, 2014 As long as you have a 120mm back fan, it should work great. :)
Aergan
You would need a case with a double 120mm fan mounting area within ~30cm of the CPU socket for the H100i.
