Elliot B. Posted November 23, 2014 Share Posted November 23, 2014 I have a Logitech Z506 5.1 speaker system. My room isn't quite right for the surround speakers. When I have all of the speakers connected, I use "5.1 Surround" in Windows 8.1. It all worked and the bass was punchy. Since I don't need the back two speakers, I've disconnected them and went to set Windows to 2.1 but I can only see Stereo, Quadraphonic, 5.1 Surround and 7.1 Surround options. When I do select Stereo, the subwoofer output is minimal. Seem like an oversight in Windows development. Any ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
