What's up with Adobe update pages?

Question

This is the second time real recently I've come across this where this page, http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html says there's a new version available and even when going to this page, http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ it says a new version is available, but after downloading them and checking the properties, it is not an updated version.

What kind of stupidity is Adobe trying to exhibit here? Sheesh, is it any wonder why so many people hate Adobe?

most likely they are getting the pages ready for the new update. Then again the current version is 15.0.0.239. Is it the same you have?

The current version is 15.0.0.233!

As far as getting the pages ready for update, the last time they updated the program, they did this same thing and then removed the updated page for a day or 2 before the new version actually did come out.

Here's a pic of the details of the latest download which I JUST got!

Yep,

That's the page I linked to in first post. The second link. The file IS NOT 15.0.0.239 though, so all you did was reinstall the current version, 15.0.0.233, on those 100+ computers!

Oh well,

I'm out of here as this is no big thing anyway. Was just curious as to why Adobe has done this stupid stuff the last 2 updates!

LOLZ

well you are right, it's not 15.0.0.239 (just fired up my inventory software and checked that, it's still the 15.0.0.233). Glad that this is an automated process (for me), because i would be mad if i had being doing 100+ computers only to see this lol

Adobe really screwed up.

Glad this wasn't my imagination!

I'll stick with getting updates at the link I posted to first though. Just have to remember to double versions from now on.
