News tip?

Recommended Posts

So, please tell me again what's the point in sending in tips? Last time I got an answer from Steven that now when Neowin has 3 writers tips could be published more often, after that I've sent in 3 - guess what, none were published.

I mean a singing light bulb is top story but when, oh I don't know, Zalman goes belly up in 3 billion dollar fraud, AMD releases new Cazzario's, Samsung Freesync monitors incoming (to fight off Gsync or what ever that was) that's nothing? Really?

The AMD side I don't even mind anymore, since most of the writers here over the years have had some bias against them.

I really wouldn't mind but I find it laughable that a singing lightbulb is on the top section and none of these actually matter :)

I've posted tips that haven't been published or followed up, but maybe both our tips were crap?

It might be but in a perspective of an tech site one of the biggest PC cooler company making a 3 billion dollar fraud isn't really crap if You ask me. Well, at least compared to the bulb thingy

Nah in this case i agree (however i did enjoy the lightbulb review). What i'm more getting at is they must get quite a few crappy tips.

I have some access to what tips the writers get and trust me they get a lot. From members here, from guests, from the people who are responsible for the products etc, unfortunately they can only write so much.

I'm sure your tips are appreciated no matter what so thanks guys for trying to keep this community as great as it is and don't be too disheartened if they don't get written about :)
