ACTIONpack
I went grocery shopping and got food for my lunch. I went to the self scanning / paying to buy my food. Bag, paid and took my receipt which it had the receipt of the last person who bought something. Nothing new with that. I get other people receipt so I didn't think anything about it. When I got home I saw a prepaid visa gift card on the bottom of my bag. I thought it was a joke or something because you can pick them up and just put it in the bag with out paying and it would be useless. I decided to look at the other receipt that was barely connected to my receipt and shows that it was paid for. The odd thing that it was the only thing the person bought. What should or you do about this? It's $50 visa gift card.

Prepaid (or reloadable) credit cards (it's not "just" VISA - MasterCard and even - egad - AMEX are in there as well) can be used anywhere their "regular" brethren can be - that is, in fact, the biggest part of the pitch for them (any of them). How (or where) you use them is up to you. (Example - I use my reloadable VISA for online purchases specifically, even though there is nothing - in terms of the card itself - stopping me from using it like i would a VISA card of any other sort.) Take it back to Customer Service (at the grocery store in question) and explain what happened.

Just don't know why someone would just buy it and leave it in the bag. The receipt showe that it was theasy only thing he bought. Reciept says All prepaid cards are finals. Valueven of the card is $50. Not sure if it was one of those Christmas things that people do around Christmas time to show how rich they are.
