What did they do to Yahoo?

yahoo has been circling the drain for years looking more and more like a tabloid news site than anything that has to do with search... but this latest redesign, especially in windowed mode is horrendous.

Answers - killed off with the constant down grading of UI, no customer service what so ever, no justice for loyal users.

 

Messenger - completly dead, no chat room, no email notifications.

She's an ex google higher up, and she's re-branding Yahoo.

Time will tell if she's stabilize the company, or caused it to circle the drain.

 

Yahoo would be in worse shape if nothing was done, it probably been broken apart (collapsed) with all the other tech companies buying it's corpse.

I only see the new Yahoo page once in a blue moon, for some reason. Otherwise, yes, I'd agree it looks like crap!!

 

I still have to give Yahoo one advantage over Gmail. At least with Yahoo, I can zip up an .exe file and send it to myself, or someone I'm helping out with something.

This so called "Dumb blonde" has more knowledge in the industry than any of you chaps/esses so maybe keep that in mind when calling her out.

 

Despite that, Yahoo is a steaming pile of and has been for a long time. Whether or not she gets it in to shape is yet to be seen.
