Alley Cat Posted December 3, 2014 Share Posted December 3, 2014 My computer used to run slowly, some kind of rootkit got into my system. A factory reset fixed this. Then a few weeks later, my PC was bricked by the Patch Tuesday bug. One hell of a roller coaster ride so far ... seeing as Windows's boot time BSOD, and it refused to acknowledge my Win7 DVD, reporting a version conflict. I managed to do a reformat and clean reinstall. In the weeks leading up to today, everyone single driver is up to date including nVidia, patched a few days ago again. Now I have a mystery. 3 apps crash, something that never used to happen before. I wonder if someone can understand this. Two other apps acts strangely: Counter Striker Nexon Zombies and San Andreas Multiplayer can take up to 4 minutes to launch. BTW: Palemoon is a sub-version of Firefox.
