cosrocket
I was checking out my wife's laptop running Windows 7 and saw that there was a red bar on the C drive and the 500GB hard drive was just about full and showed only around 3GB of empty space. Well I know that's not true because she doesn't have nearly that amount of data on it. I restarted the PC and checked and now the bar was blue and it showed only around 12GB was used. I rebooted again and now thew red line was back and it showed only 4GB available. What the heck can be going on? Any ideas on what I can do about this? +StevoFC MVC Posted December 4, 2014 MVC Share Posted December 4, 2014 the pagefile (virtual memory) could make it fluctuate, but wouldn't fill 500gb.
Mindovermaster Moderator Posted December 4, 2014 Moderator Share Posted December 4, 2014 run CCleaner, will help get rid of all the junk on your system. Also might want to try Malwarebytes. Free version. Could be malware giving you this false information.
