Know the right suit for any ocassion

waaaaay too much info. LOL

I am quite good with my very dark grey and a light gray suits, and one formal black tie 3 piece.

i also have only black shoes, that go with everything.       never really liked brown shoes, but i might get walnut colored shoes for next summer.

i am considering navy and olive colored suits, but i don't want to spend the money, since i don't have to wear suit everyday,  and i don't see the point of having another suit for no real reason.

anyway, nowadays a lot of people wear jacket and pants of different color.  still looks professional.   obviously the colors should match and not stand out too much, but otherwise it looks even better then plain suit.

i Don't think I have anything formal  I have 2 brown boots, but pretty much wear basketball sneakers/ canvas slip ons most of teh time. I'd be amongst those that wear a Jacket/Blazer with jeans and calls it formal

On and belts... I've had pretty much the same belts for around 5-6 years

As a freelance web designer that works from his own office, on his own and conducts most meeting either on the phone or via Skype... WTF are these things?

Good info but honestly, who wears suits anymore? I stopped nearly a decade ago. I see a person in a suit nowadays and all I can think is

  • Here comes some some tie wearing junior exec that has no idea how the real world works
  • Uh Oh, here comes a sales person - run!

Got that right.  Anyone wearing a suit is a sales person or a lawyer.  In either case, avoid them at all costs.
