I don't know if its a known issue, but I'm unable to log in to make comments on the news section. 
I have questions about the writing positions available at Neowin, and wanted to post in the comment section, but even though I can sign in here, I can't sign in to comment on that page.

 

I've now been able to log in, but it gives a page error saying I don't have permission to comment on the page...

Depends on the page in question, but as you can post in the forum,

Site announcements or sending a pm to an admin might benefit you, as they'd be the ones to make the recruitement desicions.

I guess this solves a few questions for me already. No one else has commented either, so must be a site issue.

I really have questions on average article compensation over the last few months or last year. Not sure a forum admin can provide that data. Or can they?

And how do you contact an admin? Been awhile since I was a regular forum hound.

On a side note, 2 (possibly more) of the admin here own the site, the whole of the site falls under their jurisdiction
