beanboy89
I recently got a Windows 8.1 tablet, and on a normal desktop and laptop PC, I use a password to secure my PC. On my tablet, I've assigned a lock screen PIN, instead of having to enter a password every time my tablet goes to sleep. When I slide up on Windows 8.1's lock screen, I get the number pad to enter my PIN, but on the bottom left corner of the number pad, there's a button that I've never seen on a PIN unlock screen on any platform, nor have I ever seen it on Windows. It's a square with lines emanating from all sides and corners of the square. When I tap it, it just turns blue with a white square inside it. It seems to do nothing else. What is this button?
