is there a way to hide or make more slim window 7 border

hi

 

is there a free utility maybe portable to make more slim or hide windows 7 windows boders

like

under w7 is very huge

 

hope there is an utility that can make it slim  , i'm looking for a utility that can at least do it for some programs

 

i tried Windowed Borderless Gaming but it's not exactly what i'm looking for

No you have to install a custom theme for that.

Those are just a few themes of the ones available on deviantART, somehow I ended up selecting neiio his themes since he somehow has a lot fo borderless themes :p

The guide should be the same for Windows 7 so ignore the fact that it's titled windows 8 customization.

 

 

Above is not exactly true, there is a utility(see below) but that works not very well with most programs so make sure to exclude all programs and only include the programs you want to change ;)

True Transparency has some borderless themes by default and you also make your own by just editing some png images.

Control Panel - Personalization - Window Color - Advanced appearance settings:

 

Click the drop down menu and choose Active Title Bar. Then, shrink it to 15.
