pratnala
The ISO I downloaded from the Insider Program site turned out to be build 9841. The later builds haven't released yet in the ISO format? There is no progress bar or anything while upgrading within the build (at least in 9841) and that kinda sucks. Jason S. Global Moderator Posted December 18, 2014 Global Moderator Share Posted December 18, 2014 From what i understand there's no other ISOs available. You can, however, upgrade to 9879 (?) through the Tech Preview. If you go to PC Settings, you'll see an option for Preview Builds. It'll check for an update, downoad, and install automatically. articuno1au
I downloaded again today from the Insider Program site. Again got 9841. WTF!They're testing the update process in Windows 10 by forcing you to do it this way. They haven't been uploading ISOs for each build, and I doubt they will start now. All in all, install what you have and let it run the update.

Yes I know I can do this way but it is time consuming because of the slow connection I have. And I can't leave my VM for on so long because well, I need that RAM for other stuff Click on the following link, it will get you right to the download page for 9879: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=510225 Product Key for the Tech Preview: NKJFK-GPHP7-G8C3J-P6JXR-HQRJR This too gave me 9841. WTF. Is there no ISO of 9879 available?
