Patchmypc issues

When I run the latest version of patchmypc, it always flags firefox as being outdated, despite the fact that it is at the most recent version, checked from help:about as well as mozilla directly. I have told it to ignore firefox, but it still attempts to update it. Any idea how to overcome this issue?

my guess is you have firefox 34.0 installed?

 

there's a 34.0.5 update available for firefox but it's optional atm and thus doesn't come up in firefox's own about/update window. but patchmypc still detects 34.0.5 as the latest version
