Original Poster Posted December 19, 2014 Share Posted December 19, 2014 hello, can anyone suggest the best way to drop inactive connections to a network (via server controls).... I currently use squid and iptables to filter my network and I have got a webportal which gives users x time to use the network but now I to change it so that if a user does not browse after 3 minutes they have to reactivate their device... what would you think is the best way to do this? very open to suggestions if possible I would not want to install any other packages to the system though I am very much considering squid guard.
