Chrome will not post to Facebook nor respond in GMAIL

I am trying to use Chrome to reply to posts on Facebook, or reply to emails in Gmail. However, it doesn't seem to work. This is on both Macs and Windows 7 machines, plus Win10 VMs. The releases of Chrome differ as well (this has survived multiple releases and updates over the past couple of months.) Internet Explorer and Safari have no problems with either so it is not my computers nor my network.

 

I've cleared cache and cookies. I've tried reinstalling it. It doesn't matter.

 

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Don't use Facebook myself but GMail seems to be working fine here on Chrome stable. Possibly an addon misbehaving? Or try running it in a temporary profile that's "clean"?

Edit -- got any sort of "antisocial" ad block filters running? Could be screwing with Facebook too.

I have an issue where you use FB comments to comment on news websites and my comments don't show up on firefox as well as chrome stable both regular and dev builds. clean profiles on both.

 

IE works tho.

I'll try playing mix and match on the add-ons.

 

I do have ad blockers running. They won't be going away. LOL

Using Chrome Version 39.0.2171.95 m (64-bit) both at work and at home no problems on FB. I second what Max said above.Have you messed with the Chrome://Flags? There is a restore settings in the advanced settings section you can also try.
