Teamviewer woes

Question

Hey all, long time team viewer user PC to PC... recently downloaded on android phone to remote control via lan and all I get is "connection cannot be established", however within the same wifi, I can login using  my laptop. Googled the hell out of it and no idea.

Android 5.0 lg g3 justincase

PC1  main pc

PC2 laptop

Android phone...

Basically pc1 and 2 seem to be able to log in to each other via lan, however, when trying via my android phone, no luck.

Edit. suprised how little response I got in the official forums, I know it's a free product, but it seems a widespread issue... (Well wide being a couple of google searches, but still)

Are the PC's set to accept local LAN connections within their configuration for Team Viewer? Also, are they on the latest version 10?

FWIW, I've tried mine on Android 4.4.4 (Sony Xperia Z1) and Android 5.0.1 (Nexus 7) and it's working to version 10.0.36897 on my PC's.

Hmmm don't know if they are on the latest version.

I use only lan access for my teamviewer, so yes, both are set to enable lan access, will check team viewer version and post back.

Does it work with Only LAN access turned off?

Aergan was stop on...

It was weird though... one computer was on 10 and another on 9... yet both could view each other, must be some sort of fail safe built in to android I guess...

No problem, glad there was a reason. The Android client only supports the latest current major release for that version. Had the same issue with v8 to v9 and v9 to v10.

Weird, you'd think for continuity sake, unless there was some major change... anyway thanks!

Another question, is the android client instant? Mine takes likes 10 seconds in "establishing connection", whilst PC takes 2-3... Not that I mind, just curious is all.

When they released v10, my Android client auto-updated then stopped being able to connect to my server (which hadn't updated yet). Not sure what their aim with it is, but yeah it's somewhat annoying.

Mine takes 2-3 seconds on LAN, up to 10 seconds via WAN (depending on the lack of bandwidth / latency).
