Restarting Windows

Had to replace my HD and reinstall Windows.  Stuck with 7 because I wanted to get my system up and going fast and had the drivers for 7 already.

 

Anyway, when choose the restart option, screen turns black and remains on but the system doesnt restart.  Happened during the restarts when I was installing Windows as well.  System does shutdown fine tho.

 

Ideas?

Thanks.  But this was related to this thread.  Got it figured out already.  Didnt know the 2 were related until later.
