LimeMaster
Against: * Most of the upcoming games work the the older 3DS models, so there's no real need to buy it unless you really like the small minor improvements. * No charger is included with the new model. * The lifespan of these new models will probably be short going by previous Nintendo handhelds with small improvements. (e.g. Gameboy Micro, Nintendo DSi) For: * Two analog sticks. * Slightly better performance.

n_K
"You really wanted a non-XL option" There is a new 3DS and a new 3DS XL, not sure how that point it relevant? "They'll make a better edition soon (which includes a "free" charger)." Haha - no they won't. The UK version hasn't had a charger for years, welcome to the new nintendo. Lingwo
Already got one and aside from the better 3D. There isn't much reason to own one. If you own a 3DS/XL already. Don't bother, unless you really want to play Xenoblade Chronicles. If you're looking into getting a 3DS. Then definitely get a New 3DS C-Stick is rubbish as well. Reminds me of the old mice that you'd get with laptops. The little thing in the middle of the keyboard.

+InsaneNutter MVC Posted January 21, 2015 MVC Share Posted January 21, 2015 Against: Minor improvement over the current 3DS XL, not worth buying if you already own a 3DS, 3DS XL or 2DS console Will not have many games that take advantage of the additional power, Nintendo cant afford flagship games to fragment the market. Basically the DSi all over again For: Worth buying if you don't have a console in the 3DS family
