vanx
I don't think that's how adverts work. If they can track you they will show you adverts relevant to you otherwise you are going to get generic adverts. There are a few companies that do site specific ads but there isn't enough money in them compared to tracking adverts. If gambling ads are a "no no" here then it should be fair game to report an ad that one deems to be irrelevant. Otherwise, it is a bit of a slippery slope where the grounds on which an advert is deemed to be inappropriate are anything but clear.

vanx
These ads are border-line phishing, since they are pretending to be from a certain social networking app. Why does this still have to be a game of whac-a-mole? Why can't all ads that appear on the site be pre-approved by staff? http://52.5.207.121/oapi/clickAd;jsessionid=5CD7B94D81562A0A2A9A67045DE030FC.soma-i-078983d0 http://52.7.39.35/oapi/clickAd;jsessionid=E3F99056EC5DF6D5AAF43DE011636476.soma-i-e231791f

vanx
All the ones in page 4 of this thread (current page) They range from being irrelevant to the content of the site to being related to gambling (which Steve said he opted out of) to near-phishing ones that I mentioned. Torolol
I always consider ads that say "Your system running low" as borderline fraud, theres no way they could really knew that "My system" (whatever that is according to the advertiser) is "running low" (whatever that means according to them). Well in that case, all I ever see is ads not relevant to the site and related to gambling, every now and then local based ads (based on my browsing I guess) but dating and gambling are very frequent, I shall report them from now on.
