Any problems for anyone else?  X1 says there are some XBOX service issues and wont let me sign on.  Then I get this from xbox.com/status...I can logon on the computer but not from my Xbox.

I'm having issues too. Can't even use Xbox.com or Smartglass.

 

I've heard it's been happening all night, but only just tried to log in myself.Only wanted to redeem a code as well :/

And what a night for comcast to be down as well...haha  my luck...MAybe the lizard dorks will claim credit again

 

What the ###### is wrong with these guys.  This serves no purpose or agenda.  Just people being ######.

Any time a service goes down someone is always claiming it on Twitter.

 

True...odd I can still logon online and access my account.  Just not on my XBOX.  Think ANON would have taken it all down.

It would be so easy to write a program that constantly monitors the Xbox Live and PlayStation Network status pages, and automatically tweets claiming credit every time they go down.

 

And completely harmless, too. But I have better things to do.

I actually saw these issues as well, and it happened to coincide with a $35 12 Month XBox Live code I purchased off of eBay. So there I was trying to enter the code I received convinced I received a fake code. It was not until I had the sense to check the same status page that is posted above in the image that I fortunately realized it was Live itself.

I was able to redeem the code about 30 minutes later, and since it worked, picked up another. I am now good with my sub to Live through 5/6/2017!

but I thought Xbox Live going down wasn't going to be an issue with the azure servers and all.

 

To be fair, the 360 very rarely had issues. They had a couple of outages but it was generally pretty solid. Since the XB1 It seems that stability has gone down the the drain.

Maybe if they didn't use a potato for a server, it wouldn't be down so much.

Down so much? I wish other services were half as reliable.

I found it funny I couldn't use most of their services. I tried playing Titanfall... and of course I couldn't. I tried firing up Plex, it said I needed to be connected. Fired IE, same. Fired YouTube, Amazon Instant Video... you get the idea. Here's the thing, I was connected, and the internet worked just fine. Most of these apps should not be tied to the Xbox Live service. Not sure how this is different from their idea of making on always on DRM machine.  :crazy:

Are you kidding or something. Steam hasn't been down yet at all for this long either in 2014 or in 2015. XB live is a different story.. is this like the 3rd or 4th outage now? For like 24hrs? Damn, you guys must love MS and their reliability.

thankfully they removed most of the online only to functionaility from the machine, 

 

Could not launch DA Inquisition, however I blame EA for forcing EA login to launch the game.

Can't stand MS, but their Xbox Live service is great. As for steam, yeah...their down time has been more prevalent lately.

yeh but we are talking 24hrs down time gaps, and over Xmas and into Jan and now again. 24hrs or more outages from XB live, on Steam outages are not that long. anyways.
