Mando Posted January 29, 2015 Share Posted January 29, 2015 Issue In the latest 99x releases the wired xbox 360 headset is recognised as a Microsoft audio recording device, yet when you try to use the mic at all, windows or any app cannot access it as a capture device. Fix the only reliable fix I've found is to download the MS wired xbox 360 software (x86 for x86, x64 for x64) for Win 7/8/8.1 Links http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-gb/d/xbox-360-controller-for-windows Choose the relevant version to match your platform (x86 or x64) Install Reboot you can now use the headset as a mic agai for TeamSpeak, ventrillo, skype etc etc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
