Microsoft goes big with two Super Bowl ads

Tonight, millions of viewers from around the world will tune in and watch the Seattle Seahawks take on the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl. As with every year, millions of those fans will be also watching the commercials too.

Last year, Microsoft released a commercial that was shown during the big game that tugged at the heart-strings of all who watched and this year, the company has two new advertisements that you can watch above and below.

The above ad highlights Braylon O'Neill and how Microsoft technologies have improved this little man's life. It has a similar vibe to commercial shown last year with Steve Gleason and how Microsoft's technology improved his life after he was diagnosed with ALS.

The ad shown above this paragraph highlights how Estella Pyfrom brings tech access to kids. Her Brilliant Bus is a mobile learning station that gives under served communities access to the tech that will help them reach their potential.

The ads are narrated by songwriter and performing artist Common and the words were pulled directly from speeches given by Microsoft Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella.

With these ads running 68 seconds each, and each advertisement spot costing millions of dollars, Microsoft spent a lot of money this year to show off these clips.
