I got some old PC card - its Ati Radeon 5770 (yes, im know its nothing special) Of course, card dont show bootscreen, but in Mac overview show as a Ati Radeon HD 5000 Series 1024MB - its becouse card aint flashed? If he were, he should DROP the thought of needing to flash it - most HD5xxx cards work out of the box - all the way back to Mountain Lion, if not earlier. Which Clover will handle itself for the most part. Clover has become my default bootloader since it now handles GPU swaps far better than Chameleon (while my GTX550Ti has better performance, my HD5450 has full-size HDMI, and therefore better audio support).
