+BudMan MVC Posted February 19, 2015 MVC Share Posted February 19, 2015 So you try and open say http://www.something.tld and this gets blocked by your security software. Your IT then white lists www.something.tld, does this not then open still? This sure seems like something you need to work out with your local Admins - not sure how anyone on neowin can help you workout your companies security polices. If you gave a site your trying to go to, we could check if the site has been listed as being bad, etc. if your trying to run a specific application, does your company use a proxy? Is the application proxy aware - are websites being hosted on non standard ports, say your trying to open http://www.something.tld:8080 or something. Quite often this is blocked at many companies as well
