sc302 Veteran Posted February 25, 2015 Veteran Share Posted February 25, 2015 Has anyone been able to get windows xp to authenticate to NPS via a computer certificate? Works with windows 7 and and 8, does not work with Windows XP. Don't really care if I find a fix, but everything is leading me down the path of users must authenticate in to RADIUS vs the computer. If it doesn't the machine can be nuked off the network and I won't have to worry about it.

sc302 Veteran Posted February 26, 2015 Author Veteran Share Posted February 26, 2015 Yep spent 30 minutes on this. Conclusion is to remove and not look back. It is a d610, way past it's life expectancy. Crappy loaner was to be it's job.
+BudMan MVC Posted February 26, 2015 MVC Share Posted February 26, 2015 Put a ssd in it, should run win7 just fine. They were giving away old laptops here, dell something about 7+ years old I think.. Put in a 60$ 128GB ssd and it rocks, better than my current work box Use it for my test machine on g jobs. Has all my tools on it.. I with they would roll out ssd here, I told them I would even pay for it.. Can not believe anyone uses laptops without ssd these days.

Aergan
Put a large hatchet into it and leave it on the workbench with a sign stating "Windows XP Support Policy".
