I noticed that with modern system and displaying the boot menu(the menu that show which system to boot and safe mode options,ect), text displays slow on the screen. It starts displaying the text at the top and slowly moves down the screen showing the rest. on older xp system. it was instant. the whole screen display all text at once. could the reason be, is that modern video cards dont have the dos vesa support. which causes text to display slower? I hope people understand, what I'm talking about. this issue, not really an issue, makes it look like the system is running slow. I'm just thinking out loud on this one. discussions of speculations.
