Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7"

So far, all reports of Lollipop of the Tab 4 are saying AVOID/AVOID/AVOID - major performance issues.  If you are running JellyBean, however, seriously consider upgrading to KitKat.  The Tab 4 puts a whuppin on the Tab 2 Mom had prior (and not JUST due to the multi-user mode the Tab 4 has - which the Tab 2 lacks).

The Tab 4 not only recharges faster when not in use (compared to the Tab 2), it gains charge WHILE in use - which the Tab 2 doesn't do.

The Tab 4 also has faster app response than the Tab 2 - however, it's hard to quantify what is due to the newer CPU/GPU and what is due to the diff between JellyBean (Tab 2) and KitKat (Tab 4).

what is a lollipop. is this a good tab as compared to samsung products.

I'm going to assume this is a genuine question and try to answer it

Lollipop is the name given to the Android Operating System found on Various Tablets And Smartphones

They have a habit of naming the new version of the OS with the name of some sort of sweet.

for example, android ver 4. was called Ice Cream Sandwich, so 5.0 is called Lollipop

There are discrepancies within also as version 4 of android's OS went through 3 name changes, ICE mentioned above, Jelly Bean and Kit Kat.
