I'm looking for an orthographic furniture design software!

Question

Hi fellow neowinians!

I'm looking for a digital way to design furniture, for personal purposes ofcourse, but I don't want to drow the lines with pencil anymore and would like to prefer a digital alternative. I mostly do did my design orthographicly. (Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Descriptive_geometry)

AutoCAD is prolly a safe bet, that it can do that, but I'm more so looking for an app that's very easy to pick-up and get it going.

Google ScetchUp? Any 1 having exp. with that? ...why did it vanish?

Thanks in advance for the tips! :)

Wiki link seems to be borked.

Right, stupid forum engine, took the ")" at the end as part of the link. Here is the correct: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Descriptive_geometry

It's just the usual geometrical table, with front view as top-left part, side top-right. Top view is bottom-left and the last box is usually just lined. I can't really express it propely.
