Yes, but much like the straps on my Wiimotes, I only use it to twirl it around when I'm bored.

Shoulder. Similar to.the black rapid above but mine is the Joby. :)

Those neck straps and original straps are the worse!

i never used straps for camera, until i dropped one.    i know always do, if i am anywhere, where there is a potential for drop (like over water, in high winds, over great heights, while moving)

also, I do use a strap on :shifty:

surely, you mean your girlfriend uses it?  otherwise i fail to see the point

also, don't go off topic

Check out the Jobys I mentioned. I thought the same too.

Today I'm finding all kinds of useful links posted in Neowin. :D

I have been looking for something like that for some time and never found any in the shops. Thanks very much!!

Oh, and I use the standard neck strap that came with the Nikon 7100.

But I think that will change soon.

After shooting at a comic con over the weekend I want to get a new strap now and it hurts my neck after having it hanging all day. Where would you guys recommend picking one up from? UK based ideally.

Not sure what style would be best though.

I'm looking at the Joby.

But then I don't know if I would ever have my camera without my bag... especially as I am attending a theme park.  My Crumpler bag hides it well in the bottom pouch.

I've always been the kind of person that hates having a strap on my camera.

Last week I upgraded to a Nikon D5500 (my first SLR) and now I feel I need a strap as it's quite big (and the Nikon supplied one was useless) one so I got one on eBay for
