benjamine6
Now, We all know that Brad sams told us that the Windows installation interface is being updated and he also added a mockup image of what it looks like. Since it was only one, I decided to finish the order. PLEASE NOTE: This is only a MOCKUP. I made these myself, I did not steal them from Microsoft or anywhat. I made them when i was inspired to do it via that screenshot Brad posted in the article "Windows 10: The installation interface has been updated." So, Without any further to do, Here's my full mockup of what the Windows 10 installation could look like. Here it goes.

siah1214
You know, I get what you're going for, and I appreciate it, but your mockups need some help. However, I do hope at some point during the setup process, a Microsoft designer left a note on a dialog saying "Gosh I suck at this" That would make my day. Usama Jawad96 Veteran Posted March 12, 2015 Veteran Share Posted March 12, 2015 Wuuut....... Sorry, but I prefer the current one. This one looks too basic and the UI looks too old to be made for Windows 10. Sorry, no offense. margrave 1 Share
Krome
And here, I imagine the installer contains much more configurable options such as allowing users to choose which browsers to use and what type of media player to install or what type of themes we can have it use as a default start up;... Micrsoft seems to want to dumb down their minions as much as possible..

+InsaneNutter MVC Posted March 12, 2015 MVC Share Posted March 12, 2015 I'd actually prefer that as there's no white text on a black background. I find white text on black background incredibly hard to read, sadly Microsoft seem to love that as many areas on the Xbox One dashboard are like that too, with no option to change it. Ian W
I actually like the current Windows 8 / Windows 8.1 setup design. I am not sure why some think that Microsoft should change it.

Maybe on Xbox One you don't have the option, but on Windows Phones you can change it so it's black text on white if you prefer.
