TDT
This is a real puzzle for me. Indiana Jones is clearly a BIG franchise and a cash cow, yet no one seems to want to exploit this with some good games, on PC or consoles. What was the last one, Emperor's Tomb in 2003? I liked that, and I liked Infernal Machine too, but since then all we got was more Lego crap. I know there's Tomb Raider out there, and Uncharted on consoles too fill the void for this type of games, but come one...Indiana Jones is Indiana Jones. Personally, I LOVE this type of games, in fact they're my favorites, ancient stuff + puzzles and some action is the perfect combination. So why there are no more Indy games out there? Is it because of licenses & stuff?
Eric Veteran Posted March 13, 2015 Veteran Share Posted March 13, 2015 That seems to be pretty much the gist of it :http://www.ew.com/article/2012/11/01/disney-lucasfilm-deal-indiana-jones There also haven't been any movies for a while so as a licensable IP it's sorta dead in the water right now. TDT
Come on, they need movies to do games?! It's beyond stupid, this is something that everyone knows about, I can't imagine anyone not hearing about Indiana Jones at least once in his lifetime. It's something that would be very profitable if done right...
