I wonder what we are supposed to do with the firmware/bios. I also get this error message:- 0x802224200d I have searched for this but found nothing that is relevant. Incidentally, I am using an ASUS Z97 Deluxe motherboard set up for full compliance with a UEFI BIOS.

timster
What do you mean your SSD stop working? How changing the secure lock you out the SSD. after 10041 downloaded and started installing, it sat at 3% for about 15 minutes and then rebooted for whatever reason, and didn't boot. I turned it off and then couldn't even get into the BIOS. So I connected the SSD to my Windows 8.1 desktop to see if anything was wrong, the all the files in the Program Files and Windows folders had gotten corrupted at some point. I was able to get all my personal files back. I'm on 10041 now, but had to make my own ISO to get it to install.
Chosin137
I can wait until they release an updated build. This will be a widespread issue I'm sure.

Memphis
How do you create your own ISO ?? ESD Decryptor is used to make the ISO from the ESD file. That said, I did that and I can only run the setup by booting to it so if you need to upgrade this is a no go. EDIT: So after using the newest version of ESD Decryptor, I was able to make an ISO setup.exe could be executed with. But the same error is presented by it as well. +Zlip792 MVC Posted March 19, 2015 MVC Share Posted March 19, 2015 UEFI basically show its true improvement when use GPT Partition, while previous Windows used to use MBR Partition Table. So this could be the reason.
