Shrink
Hi folks - I had the previous tech preview installed and then restored back to Windows 8.1. Going to give it another shot but do I have to have the first tech preview installed and then get the update or can I go straight to build 10041 from Windows 8.1? If so, will installing from the Windows Insider site give me the most current build or the old one? Thanks a lot! SW

SW I put 8.1 on a spare drive (due to audio issues), ran the windows update file from Microsoft's site, and it went to 9926, then after a couple of Windows updates, went to 10036. Just don't know the correct way to fix the mail/calender issue, so I went back to 9926.

+jamwheat Subscriber² Posted March 22, 2015 Subscriber² Share Posted March 22, 2015 only get "Get-appxpro" is not recognized when I run that. , anyway, on virtual machine, I decided to uninstall the mail/calendar/people app in 9926, then updated to 10041. Cannot install mail, still gets error then also. Think I may just skip the 10041 build.
