binaryzero
I suspect any standard laptop wifi module will fit no problems. Look for a model that supports the features you're looking for (Wireless N?).
Mindovermaster Moderator Posted March 21, 2015 Moderator Share Posted March 21, 2015 Yeah, just don't get a tall card. Any Intel one should work. Just look up its specs of what you want. PCI is PCI...
+Fahim S. MVC Posted March 21, 2015 MVC Share Posted March 21, 2015 Yeah, just don't get a tall card. Any Intel one should work. Just look up its specs of what you want. PCI is PCI... Unfortunately not as simple as that in the laptop world. Toshiba, like some other manufacturers whitelist certain cards in the BIOS. If you want to use a different card, you'll need to modify the BIOS.

commonjunks
My apologies for taking so long to update this thread. I was waiting for final part to arrive before i could finally update and close this thread . So i order Intel Wifi card and bam first try it worked. Only down side is there is no option on FN + Wireless button to enable/disable card, in other words WIFI card is always enabled (and i am fine with that ). Front of card back of card The thing which really took long was my keyboard replacement with backlit, this laptop don't come with backlit keyboard but they do have connecter option on board. So i just bought a board which is compatible with Z830 and viola it works . But my first attempt was failure, ribbon cable broke (this cable is very delicate, although i hacked a bit plastic cover in my laptop but due to odd shape of ribbon it broke when i was try to apply double sided tape below my keyboard). So for next purchase i enforce my ribbon with tape . Failed attempt Tape Enforcement
commonjunks
Now if only i could upgrade my video card, this would work for next 2-3 years.
Mindovermaster Moderator Posted April 22, 2015 Moderator Share Posted April 22, 2015 Most video cards are integrated into your motherboard.
