Most Canadians do speak English, but Quebec is a primarily French speaking province. There are areas of Quebec where you will have a hard time finding someone who understands English. There are also areas where you will find mostly English speaking people who don't know very much French, but there aren't very many of those. I wanted to move to Quebec a lot (I am in T.) but I cannot speak any French and I find it extremely difficult to pronounce (for some reason i find it nearly impossible to make correct sounds) so i decided it is not a good idea for jobs. though if i could find something, i would like to live in montreal for a while, explore the city and meet new people. still i love montreal and i LOVE quebec city

Romanians are internationally known for their high aptitude in speaking other European languages: primarily English, followed by French, Italian, Spanish and German. But ... I see more English speakers here , competing with '' on paper '' facts . That's why I asked . Sometimes , there's nothing what it seems to be .
