Memory Types - Any Real Difference?

Recommended Posts

Is there much difference between a flash pen/thumb drive and an SD card?

I have a spare 8Gb SD card but my largest pen drive is only 4Gb, so I am thinking of using the SD card to transfer files to the tablet for watching elsewhere (films / TV programmes).

I guess there is a higher risk using micro sd cards in a converter making it normal sd card size?

Thanks

Well, most SD card readers are USB, so i wouldnt see much between the two.

There is a difference, but for the usage that you want to give it there is none. Almost any micro SD card in the shop nowadays comes with an adapter. It doesn't really matter, you can still copy data on to it as if it were a USB stick and use it wherever it is supported.
