Recommended Posts

I am just now hearing about this - I think its cool to just watch, but wondered if anyone else knew about it.

Thought others might like it as well:

IP Viking

If you're on a laptop without a grfx card - you wont get the "full effect"

St. Louis & Microsoft get alot of attention...

while it looks cool, i have doubt about its accuracy.

Why ?   The people behind the website are well known in that field.

I do/did had a couple doubts, but - like you said, its cool to look @.

I was shocked at the # of attacks directed @ St. Louis.

Whats so special about St. Louis ?  (other than ugly women)

Unless their plan is to wear out everyone's processor :ninja: - all 8 threads are running hard.

Considering they are using honeypots, I would not be surprised if the highest incidences you are seeing are newly set up ones since the other ones are probably known by the darknet to avoid the oldest ones.

While this one is cool, I tend to use this one for a quick look at things:

More information thogh on the ipviking map for those interested:

I stumbled on this a couple of weeks ago and installed their app. It's pretty, and it's great for giving my friends an idea of just how many attacks happen online in a short space of time, but like others I would not consider it entirely accurate.

Still cool and handy, mind. (Y)
