Elliot B.
I installed an SSD into my sister's 2007 Packard Bell Argo C2 (came with Windows Vista x86). I have installed Windows 8.1 x64 onto it and everything works but the display resolution. The video chip is the ATI Radeon Xpress 200M which does NOT have drivers for 8.1 x64 (I've tried Vista compatibility mode with many packages from PB, Dell etc., non install). I don't mind if video acceleration isn't working, the system is only used for basic Web browsing, document editing etc. 1024x768 looks odd on a 1280x800 screen. PowerStrip or Custom Resolution Utility didn't work. Driver Booster found nothing. Any ideas?
Rockmilk
Perhaps this program will find you a generic driver. This one. https://code.google.com/p/snappy-driver-installer/ Or this one. http://www.drivermax.com/ Let us know the outcome.

cork1958
DriverMax worked as far as installing itself, or it actually found useable drivers?
