Elliot B.
I don't like monitors where can you tap the screen and see the liquid move.
Odom Member Posted March 25, 2015 Member Share Posted March 25, 2015 Why would you tap the monitor in the first place? Roger H. 1 Share
Elliot B.
Why would you tap the monitor in the first place? Not quite the point. Besides, I think glass/hard plastic fronts look much better. I don't care about glare.
Blaze_Zewi
The only one I can think of is dell all in one touchscreen desktop. You can poke all you want
Psion7
iMac... No but seriously Dell doesn't do any glass fronted monitors sadly. I agree with you that they do look much nicer than the cheap plastic you see on most monitors, they are also easier to clean. Well that's totally false, Dell S2740L is edge to edge glass as well as the newer S2715H Problem is with these, is the horrible reflection. Sorry I should have said no current/recent models are glass. That model is from 2012 I think?

I was hoping for a 1920x1200, 24", IPS, glossy monitor but I can't find one from any manufacturer I'll stick with buying a Dell UltraSharp U2415 (1920x1200, 24", IPS, non-glossy). TAZMINATOR
The monitor you tapped is a LCD. That's the reason it's called Liquid Crystal Display. They don't carry glass for this type of monitor. My 22" LCD monitors have plastic screen. Meaning that they don't get the reflections from the windows or sun. You can not see yourself on that screen. I like these ALOT. No reflections at all. My 23" LED monitor has glass. But has reflections during the day... you can see your reflection on the glass. I use this at night. No problem. (Note, this monitor is facing toward the door behind me. That's the reason I have reflections on it. At night, no problem.) I have an iMac. I don't have any problems with it during the day or night. Of course this has glass as well. If you put it to sleep, you can see reflections on the glass.
