Stoni Ann Blair died from multiple blunt trauma and Stephen Berry died from multiple blunt trauma and thermal injuries, Ryan Bridges a spokesman for the medical examiner's office said. Blair was arrested last week after 36th District Court bailiffs went to her townhouse in the Martin Luther King apartments to evict her, only to find the bodies of 9-year-old Stephen Berry and 13-year-old Stoni Blair inside the freezer, which was kept near the front door. "She realizes she has some challenges to work through," said attorney Wyatt G. Harris, who was appointed Friday. If they don't put her in SuperMax (23 hours a day in her cell, isolated yard & other privilges) the other women will go after her, no question about it. There was a case in the 1980's where a female child killer was off'ed by other female prisoners. They tied her hair to a fixture, then rotated her body until her neck snapped. No one "saw" a thing.
