Windows Phone vs Android Chooses

Recommended Posts

Hi All

In April Family wants me to switch off at&t wireless, (currently have a Nokia Lumia 920), anyways only one Sprint carries is Lumia 635, other than that is IPhone or Androids, been with Windows phone so long, thinking of just grabbing the Lumia 635, and being fine with that.    Though my friends and Family want me on Android so I can run Secondlife text only viewer on the phone as well, not so sure I even need that

Yeah think will go for what I want....Been on Windows Phone platform since Windows Phone 7, and then 8...a lot of apps I bought over the years I can just use on the new phone most likely, Windows 10 coming, so think best choice is just staying with Windows Phone as I thought of earlier.   Don't think I really need Secondlife text viewer on phone, not like im gonna be on it while sleeping at night, on it enough on Desktop PC during day

Probably So, Just Jealous of Windows Phone,  Do like the Intergration with Desktop, Window Phone games, camera, Intregration with Onedrive, Skype, and such.    and Free upgrade to Windows Phone 10 when available, which i'm sure will be nice.    Secondlife game I only really need on Desktop, on it enough as it is lol.

Heck, I would suggest trying out another gsm based carrier, even prepaid one, before going to sprint.  Surely you can save money with say T Mobile or a pre paid option if any are good in your area.

That would mean you could get an unlocked windows phone.  The Blu WinHD or the Lumia 830 are good unlocked options.

There is the chance that the new flagship phone coming from MS with Win 10 will come to Sprint, so you could get by with the 635 until that comes out and then upgrade, but that is a roll of the dice.
