Bypass UAC without Admin password - Win 8.1 Pro

Hi,

 

Got a company laptop with heavy UAC put in by my IT team. So basically I cant install any programs, cant run any programs other than the ones already installed.

 

How do i bypass this? I desperately need to install one program on this laptop for my personal use.

I'm guessing your company policy dictates that you cannot install software, this is normal.

It's not your hardware, they have a right to lock it to specific approved software.

 

Try asking your IT guys if they will allow an exception.

The UAC settings are there for a reason. As IT guy I'd slap you if you tried to circumvent the restrictions.

Yea as a it guy for a company I wouldn't allow you to. If I found out that you were trying to do this I would instruct management to take your laptop away due to attempting to breach security measures. This could possibly lead to termination. I would highly advise against this and get your own equipment to install this on.
