Hi,

 

Has anyone else got an issue with Chrome playing 4k video on YouTube using HTML5 where the CPU usage is around 88-90% and the video playback lags. This is using the Intel Iris 6100 graphics card too.

 

Then I use Safari, no issues at all. Is Chrome just badly optimised?

wouldn't surprise me if it was just chrome... I know I do not like the audio quality in chrome... it feels like some upper range frequencies are muffled or cut off.. compared to other browsers.. .I've also noticed higher CPU usage also
