#Michael
I always knew that browser cookies were sneaky but I never really knew how much until yesterday. Over the weekend, I was doing internet searches for new lawn mowers. I was searching through google, home depot, and lowes using Firefox 37. Now, I did not have Facebook open at anytime nor was I using it at all during the day. And yet yesterday morning the sponsored ads on my FB page were from home depot for lawn mowers. It's quite interesting how facebook is able to get the info from the cookies.
kukubau
Install these two extensions and you will never ever see any facebook or google crap ads. Adblock Plus and F.B. Purity
Noir Angel
Using adblock doesn't stop Facebook from tracking those cookies, it just stops the ads from loading. If you want to stop it tracking you browsing habits change the settings here: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads
