VMWare OVFTool

Recommended Posts

Apparently VMWare now requires you to REQUEST a download for the vmware vcli tools and the OVFTool. This is ###### and they said it could take up to 3 days. I have a feeling no one watches the requests and if they do they need some absurd explanation why you want it.

If someone has the Linux version of this tool, can you please share it with me?

Thanks

Sikh

I know I "SHOULD" be able to download them but as soon as I clicked download now I got a yellow message explaining that my request with my details was submitted to VMware and they will get back to me.

I'll take a screenshot later to show what I'm getting

Link is in your PM, let me know when you have it so I can remove the link.

edit:

Dude you have to say what version your after or going to assume current.  I uploaded the old 5.5 cli, and 2.0.1 is just OLD.. 3.5.2 should work for you says it works on

vSphere 5.5 to 4.0, ESX 5.5 to 3.5, vCloud Director 5.5 to 1.5, Workstation 10.0 to 2015 RC, and Fusion 2015 RC to 3.0

See your PM for links
